Feelings
Those words I’ve left unspoken through years
Brother
Lying in front of me, I can see your pain
And truth is all I’d have loved to tell
And keeping you closer was all I’ve ever truly needed
(words) No longer spoken
(you’re) No longer here
(here) You left me broken
(so) Why don’t you come back?
A teary stream made by
the sound of my heart
shattered by your sleep
I cry and sigh,
And life’s just a mere ordeal
A soul divided in two
newborn brothers separated
the burden of an ancient bond
between you and me
And life is a toss of coin
lead by the force of future.
we’ll meet in the hereafter.
By a river’s shore or in another life.
I’m alone.

Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard! wafiii

When I thought that I was finally done with this Bandcamp Friday's feeding frenzy in came the message that there was a huge discount on Veil today... Guess what happened? :-))))
So, this is the second Drifting Sun album vocally fronted by the gifted Jargon from Greece. If versatile (neo-)prog with fine melodies, arrangements and vocals is your thing, this might very well be worth your attention! Carsten Pieper

got recc'd this on youtube and loved it- reminds me a lot of late 60's and early 70's records i used to hear playing out of my parents' stereo on sweltering summer days. OPAL
