Time relapses
i feel quite strange
no one’s talking here
should i stay?
my disillusion,
my pain remains.
“did my mind pulled out this vision?”
i say…
as day goes by
the lights get dim
and time goes back to my past.
dancing i cry.
a turn, another turn now,
to a fair farewell.
sinking into my footsteps
i’ll walk ahead
in my dreams
the world looked limitless
now it seems a cold empty cage.
step by step, side by side
my walk goes on untill
i’ll lay and die
as days go by
my light gets dim
as time comes back from my past
dancing i cry
a turn, another turn now
to a fair farewell
sinking ito my footsteps
i walk ahead
Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard! wafiii
When I thought that I was finally done with this Bandcamp Friday's feeding frenzy in came the message that there was a huge discount on Veil today... Guess what happened? :-))))
So, this is the second Drifting Sun album vocally fronted by the gifted Jargon from Greece. If versatile (neo-)prog with fine melodies, arrangements and vocals is your thing, this might very well be worth your attention! Carsten Pieper
got recc'd this on youtube and loved it- reminds me a lot of late 60's and early 70's records i used to hear playing out of my parents' stereo on sweltering summer days. OPAL
