Here, come and see the whore,
worshipper of the devil,
bringer of perdition,
let her scream purge the night.
I command you to leave this place
In the name of god and the saints
By the sword of St. Michael you will pay for your sins
Turn on the Flame!
I’m the holy slave of the Lord,
listen to me,
Burn now for me!
Witch
The failure of this people,
the mistakes of human beings
Are tales told long ago,
tales written in books unseen.
One told about an angel
who fell for his betray,
Who’s imprisoned
in hell and fire
I sing of ancient gods
that nobody knows,
I sing of damned men who read the Necronomicon.
And you, sheeps and idiots
acting as blind as bats
I’ve seen above those trails,
Reality’s not what you expect!
Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch. A band that really should be heard! wafiii
When I thought that I was finally done with this Bandcamp Friday's feeding frenzy in came the message that there was a huge discount on Veil today... Guess what happened? :-))))
So, this is the second Drifting Sun album vocally fronted by the gifted Jargon from Greece. If versatile (neo-)prog with fine melodies, arrangements and vocals is your thing, this might very well be worth your attention! Carsten Pieper
got recc'd this on youtube and loved it- reminds me a lot of late 60's and early 70's records i used to hear playing out of my parents' stereo on sweltering summer days. OPAL
